A childhood as an Air Force brat and service in the Marine Corps changed him forever. He persevered through everything that marines do, with a foot broken in multiple places for two weeks. “We were busy…”, he explained.
He has spent 15+ years staying balanced as a man and human. His involvement in The ManKind Project (MKP) has benefited him and all whom he encounters.

He is a great dad to his son Alexander. He is also a kind and loving husband to his wife, Tonya. Plus he has unconditional love for his 4-legged son, Linus – a dog that never ceases to remind him the feeling is mutual.
He managed eighty four people, negotiated multi-million dollar contracts, drove Jeeps professionally — usually at crazy angles and locals, while keeping his passengers entertained.

Chris’ integrity level is far beyond what most would call normal. He consistently walks his talk. By far the best boss and friend I have ever had the honor of working with and knowing.”
Sounds funny, doesn’t it, yet it is true. It’s hard to pin-point exactly when I knew I was a writer. It’s easier to pin-point when I actually allowed it! Summer of 2014, I established my Writer’s Cave.
I know I just made it sound so simple, yet the establishment was a trials and tribulations process for me. I tried different locations in the house, different times of day, 4 different chairs, I had to reinforce the boundary of seclusion, I had to step through guilt and fears, and it was worth every bit of it.
Some time back in High School I wrote a few things, then didn’t allow it again until last summer, some 25 years later. Thats right, the only thing preventing me from writing was me. The judgements and programs, the seed voices that were planted in my head over the years as to why not to write.
Instead of writing, I went out and excelled at many different things. I can’t say I was passionate about most of the jobs I had. I varied from liking it, too hating it. Almost all of my bosses were confused when I left, stating basically the same thing every time, “but you are doing a great job”. I would just nod my head, and say “I’m sorry, it’s time to do something else.” When I really wanted to say, “This job is killing me!”
It’s amazing how most of my health problems magically disappeared within six months of starting my novels.
Not pursuing my passions was literally killing me. Doing jobs, and holding roles that didn’t fit my natural personality, instead of pursuing my passions and doing things that fit my personality led to many a hardship.
I am beyond that now, living the writer’s life, learning the business, figuring out marketing and branding for my style and my books. Letting you all in a little deeper by writing a blog. putting out to the world, what works for me and what doesn’t, in order to help any and all that aspire to write or just plain ole get out of their own way.
